Matt Nagy might get the Eagles offensive coordinator job.

Now, I didn't, Nick Siriani is an offensive guy, but he doesn't call plays and has not for

several years, I believe.

And this is the perils of having a head coach that doesn't call plays, because if you start to lose people, sometimes you lose them because you're good. Sometimes you lose them because you're bad. And they've gone through Shane Steichen, Brian Johnson, Kellanmore, and Kevin Petulow in successive years. This will be their fifth offensive coordinator in five seasons. And if it is Matt Nagy, it's very strange because Matt was just out on a sort of a tour pitching himself for head coaching jobs saying, I don't want to call plays.

I would rather use my sort of CEO type leadership to lead in that regard.

And now he might have to take a play calling job with the Philadelphia Eagles, where his career kind of got its big start under Andy Reid in the early 2010s.

Which is a quick about face from saying, I wouldn't call plays if I was a head coach, and now I'll be an O.C. and call plays.

So it clearly wanted to be a head coach, and that doesn't seem like it's going to work out.

There's only two jobs left.

What do we got left? It's Vegas and Arizona,

I think, right? Vegas and Arizona is correct, because Cleveland went with Todd Monkin, who I had heard

was going to go with John Harbaugh as his O.C. to New York until he gets this job in Cleveland,

which is interesting in and of itself. But so Nagy, doesn't that make sense as a

rebuild your brand kind of job for Matt Nagy? While he's in Kansas City, he's never going to be

thought of as even doing the OC job. And now here to help rejuvenate a clearly talented

Eagles offense would be a very good career move, I think.

Well, you have to go through the process of reviving that offense, which the vibes in Philly

down the stretch of the season were really bad, and it just feels like, you know, that whole staff

could get blown out a year from now if they don't sort of regroup and revive

themselves to a level that that fan base expects and that's the what happens when you when you're
