Huh? This is making me ill. This is not what I should be doing. Back in 2019, Donald Trump

phoned the new president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, and congratulated him on his recent election victory.

During what Trump described as a perfect call, Trump said a tranche of congressionally approved weapons were heading to Ukraine.

But Trump said, first, I need you, Vladimir Zelensky, to perform a favor.

I need you to dig up dirt on Joe Biden, Trump's likely opponent in the upcoming 2020 presidential

election. This, of course, led to the first of Donald Trump's two

impeachments. Lieutenant Colonel Eugene Vindman, then a lieutenant colonel in the army,

was serving as legal advisor to the National Security Council. He was told about Trump's

phone call by his twin brother, also lieutenant colon Colonel, one of the NSC's leading experts on Ukraine, who was assigned to that phone call between Trump and Zelensky.

Lieutenant Colonel Eugene Vindman then reported Trump's illegal request to White House lawyers, advising them that Trump had probably

violated several laws, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. This led to Trump's first

impeachment, during which Trump fired Eugene Vindman's brother after he became a witness for the prosecution.
