The Biden administration unveiled new plans to make it illegal for medical debt to be included in your credit score.

In 2020 during Trump's final year in office 46 million Americans had medical debt.

Medical debt that was attached to their credit score,

making it harder for them to rent apartments, buy a car or send their children off to

college.

The Biden administration's 2021 American Rescue Plan eliminated $7 billion worth of

medical debt, thereby improving the credit scores for nearly 3 million
