So I I'm not a big cross fit dude. So I had to look you up

So you're kicking ass into 2010 to 14 range is that yeah, that's about right

Luckily enough I got into that sport

Just for exercise for firefighting at a really kind of early stage in the game and I'd say you went overboard looking at you

Well, I mean, it's just it's like one of those things

It's that if you're good at it you you kind of you want to get more involved and it more involved and see where you can take it

That's it. So you took second in 2012. Is that right? Yeah, was it?

Did you expect that like did you?

Like a you shoot a bow you shoot tournament

You got a pretty good idea if you go to a national shoot if you don't choke your ass off

You're probably gonna do okay. Did you know that you were gonna get you are at a fairly high level while you're doing it here before you went to the game

Yeah, that year I I was very confident going into that one I trained

It was my best training year ever and I also took a leave of absence from the fire department to

To focus on training because I knew that year of like my body felt good no injuries

I had a really good coach and I knew that my age was kind of tipping the scale of what was gonna be

You know possible so I think at the time I was 36 and and everybody else is like 22

You know so so this was it for me and I really put everything into that one and

The events turned out in my favor and I just kept pushing and pushing and pushing and just kept a good mindset throughout the entire competition
