Summary

On middle Sunday we bring you a special bonus Tennis Podcast in association with the Telegraph and supported by BNP Paribas - an exclusive 1-1 interview with Mats Wilander.

Speaking with Catherine Whitaker, Wilander says that Serena Williams will, in his view, win the calendar-year Grand Slam, that Nick Kyrgios is fully capable of winning Wimbledon this year, and that Heather Watson is 'Top Ten material'.

He also raves about the form of Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Roger Federer and suggests we are in for a blockbuster week 2 of Wimbledon.

0:41.0

Thank you, thanks for having me, Catherine. It's been a fantastic first week of Wimbledon so

0:44.8

lots to talk about. It has. Do you think it's been one of the best in recent memory? I certainly do.

0:51.2

really only had the covers on once for a very short time at the beginning of one day and which is

1:02.0

great because there's a big difference when it's disrupted in the middle of the day or just at the

1:06.0

beginning and then there've been some amazing matches and amazing stories. Dustin Brown and Rafael

1:11.5

Nadal, great match and an unbelievable story and then on top of it all Heather Watson and Serena Williams

You're having big names play each other already in the third round and that's great for tennis,

1:31.1

tough for the players. Absolutely. For me it's the best third round line up I've ever seen in terms

1:37.3

of matchups. Kiriost Rownich in the third round, amazing. I won't ask you to talk about every single

1:42.6

one of the highlights during the first week because frankly we'd be here all evening because it

1:46.1

really has been blockbuster. What we all highlights? Well I mean certainly Dustin Brown plays

1:53.2

played that kind of tennis against Rafael Nadal and the fact that I think we all were sort of

1:58.4

waiting for that to happen and when your expectations are fulfilled and you have that match that you

2:05.7

think, I mean that match might happen one in 20 tries. Dustin Brown comes out in plays like that
