Thank you, Hervoy. I've been a long time watcher, so I'm really excited to be on today.

Well, I'm excited to have you on because, you know, I've been following your work early on and then I think you started following me.

I think you're also paid subscriber to the substack.

Again, thanks for the support.

And, you know, as I understand it, you were and are a successful entrepreneur.

And then when Operation COVID hit, you put that to the side and focused on research

via your rounding the earth substack. And just real quick, for people who are not familiar

with you and your work, if you could just tell us where you're coming from and then, you know,

what you're currently working on. Sure. Before I do that, I'm going to explain. I'm not going to

look at the camera much because I have a re-agravated neck injury from a car wreck. So I'm going to be looking at my screen and relaxing. So who am I? I went to college on a scholarship at Washington University in St. Louis to study mathematics and left college.

I wasn't really particularly happy with my college experience, but jumped to Wall Street,

my junior year in college, where I ran a large bond account for one of the big hedge funds,

D.E. Shaw, which is maybe the largest quant fund. But I always had a passion for education.

Even going all the way back to middle school, I would teach all the other students, helped build

the Alabama math teams such that we won like the National Championship at Math Counts,

which is the big middle school competition. And then our high school is winning a lot of the high school national championships.

So I always enjoyed educating the other students.

And I could see, wow, there's so much more that anybody could do, right?

People just don't know until they've experienced a little bit of success.

And they go, oh, you know, I can make these

hurdles. I can make these leaps. So yeah, I wanted to be an educator. And when, after six years
