Hello, good friends on this Friday morning, September 13, but no tricketechaphobia here.

0:13.5

We carry on, even on September 13. So welcome back to the Ville Press pod and welcome to this week's

0:20.2

reporter's roundtable.

0:22.2

Of course, the news this week has been dominated by Tuesday night's debate between

0:26.6

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, which was also, strangely enough, the first time the two

1:21.1

the aging rock star Dick Cheney and today's great celebrity Taylor Swift. And proving that some things never change in Washington, Republicans in Congress are once

1:33.0

again threatening to shut down the government.

1:36.3

Well, that's a lot to unpack for today's panel.

1:39.4

So let's jump right in by first saying hello to David Jackson, National Political Correspondent for USA Today.

1:48.1

Hello, David.

1:49.4

Hey, Bill.

1:49.9

Thanks for having me.

1:51.1

Evan McMorris, good to have you back.

1:52.8
