You know, today was a very important episode for me in terms of scheduling this today, because

I think it's such an important topic for a couple reasons.

Number one, one of my great concerns in our culture right now is the way we talk with

one another.

The way we have conversations, it just seems to me over the last 20, 30 years in our culture,

we've lost the ability to have a conversation with somebody that we might not agree with

in a productive way.

And I'm sure you all agree with me as well.

Become very difficult in our times to dialogue with somebody that you might have a disagreement

with or have a difficult conversation with.

The art and science of learning to have a conversation is one of the most important skills

you can have in life.

Even with my kids, one of the things I hope they leave our home with is the ability to communicate

and the ability to have a conversation with somebody.

And it is a skill and there are insights in how to do it better.
