And I'm Woodhjah Thali.

And we are very excited to have yet another brilliant political mind join us to make sense of the utter nonsense

that has become our political discourse and climate over the last several years.

So, Wash, I will allow you to do the esteemed honors.

We have Robert Draper, who has been, for better or worse, writing about the

Republican Party for a long, long time. And you all have to read his latest book called

Weapons of Mass Delusion when the Republican Party lost its mind. It just came out. And it is a

frightening and excellent book that really captures, in my words, the lunacy and the danger of the modern GOP and where it's headed.

In addition, he's been a writer at large for the New York Times Magazine since 2008 and a contributing writer for National Geographic Magazine since 2007.

And his better half is Kristen Powers whom you have seen

on TV and somehow she tolerates him which means he can't be that bad or I can or I can't

incredibly tell her or she's just a very, divine woman who just tolerates you.

She seems, she sees some merit in me.

I mean, you know, but, you know, I'm not going to have a gift worth them out.

Anyway, guys, thanks for having me.

You know, Robert, I was right before you came on, I was telling Danielle and you that

I really enjoyed your book, but I don't really know if that's the proper

word because it also terrified me.

And it's like, it was great, but oh my God, because you have spent time with your reporting,

really doing these profiles of some of these individuals that Daniel and I have tried our
