And I'm Wajadli.

And we are so excited to be doing a crossover show.

And, you know, it's when we get to do these with our other, what do we say, waj, our cousins, our cousins from across the, cousins from across the way,

we get very excited about the opportunity to talk with other people who come with a racial lens

and perspective

to our politics. So, Wajah, I will turn it over to you to introduce our esteemed guests.

So our esteemed guests, Steve Phillips and Charlene Chang, are the co-host of the awesome

democracy and color podcast. And today we have the Ethnic Fantastic Four, or you can call it the Justice League or the Avengers.

But if it's the Fantastic Four, I guess I'm the thing.

I'll just take it.

And Steve has a ridiculously long bio, so I'm just going to edit it.

And here are the juicy parts of his bio. He's the founder

of democracy and color, an organization focused on race, politics, and the new American

majority. He's the author of several books. His latest book is How We Win the Civil War,

securing a multiracial democracy and ending white supremacy for good just came out in October.

You all have to bite.

We're going to be talking about it.

Steve is also, unfortunately, a graduate of Stanford University, but that's okay because

then he went to Hastings.

He's a recovering attorney.

He's appeared on multiple radio and television networks, including NBC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox, and TV One.
