Have you noticed that the lame scream media seems to be in a constant search of

terrifying things to throw in our faces to be afraid of? If it's not one thing, it's another thing. In the

1960s, the thing was the overpopulation bomb sold by people like Paul Erlich.

Then it was a series of UFO scares in Area 51. I can still remember in the late 70s the very real

paranoia that a life-destroying Ice Age was on its way.

Leonard Nimoy, played Mr. Spock on the Star Trek,

appeared in a 1978 documentary,

which is accidentally hilarious because he's so earnest and straight-faced.

Kind of like today's celebrities regarding global warming. Oops, I mean climate change.

And then we had the AIDS scare as though everybody on Earth was equally at risk for a disease that was largely

behaviorally spread. Then it was Legionnaires disease, remember that? And then it was Ebola,

hiding behind every bush. And then it was the swine flu. And then it was the swine flu and then it was death from Aspertain.

Remember that one? Then there was the belief that Procter and Gamble was run by Satanists

and that the devil was in your toothpaste.

Then it was the H1N1 bird flu.

Then don't forget the virulent SARS virus.

And then it was the West Nile virus.

And from time to time, it's a giant meteorite. Then it was

killer bees from Africa or wherever attacking everybody. And now of course it's the

coronavirus.

No wonder the word of God reminds us so often to not be afraid.
