Hello, girlfriend. Happy Easter. I hope you are enjoying the season. He is risen. He is risen indeed. Thrill to be able to join you here together on the podcast during the joyful

season of Easter. I hope you're having a great celebration with your family.

And know this.

It's only just getting started, right?

We have 40 days of Lent, but then we have 50 days of Easter.

That's how good God is.

So you get to celebrate for 50 days.

So if you haven't made the special Easter bread yet or the bunny cupcakes,

or if you haven't colored eggs or done the egg hunt or made the special Easter bread yet or the bunny cupcakes or if you haven't colored eggs or done the egg hunt or made the resurrection cookies or whatever you've got 50 days okay so make sure you are

celebrating for 50 days what a joy I'm thrilled to know that we have that long. You know, one year at the Easter vigil,

our pastor kind of reminded us all of the 50 days of Easter. And he encouraged us to make a plan

for celebrating all 50 days. And I don't remember specifically what we did, but I did take that

seriously. And we kind of like made a plan. Like, we planned out special

trips and, like, different things we were going to do as a family. Nothing big, but, you know,

just kind of encouraging the kids, especially when they were littler, to recognize, like,

Easter is an ongoing season, and we are, you know, celebrating this long because it's this big a deal.
