Hey folks, welcome to the Adventure Sports podcast. This is not a full episode, as you probably see from the time, but I wanted to just check in with you. I know I didn't post anything yesterday, and I have a great reason. I'm actually on my own adventure right now. So on this show, you know, I'm able to talk to so many adventures and get inspiration from them. And

sometimes you just got to get out there and put those lessons you learn into practice and get

out there yourself. And so being a terrible planner that I am, I was not able to fit every little

aspect of planning into before I went on the

adventure, including getting a Monday episode out. So I'm just sending you this little update to say,

I'm sorry for knocking the episode up, but it's for a very good reason. And but also, you know,

But, you know, something I've been thinking about lately, I haven't really fleshed out this idea, but it's something about the adventure muscle, flexing

and working out that adventure muscle, which is partly your body, partly your mind, partly

your spirit, your mental toughness like I just mentioned.

And I know a lot of us can never really plan on a huge adventure right now maybe not right

you know this second but at some point there is a time in our lives where we're able to do those

month long two month long two week long whatever it is for you that six month long adventure

year long adventure there will be a time where that is possible.

But in order to get ready for that, in order to be, yeah, basically have your skills kind of honed in,

be working out that adventure muscle, be doing small things, weakened adventures, micro-adventures, as they're often called, be working out that muscle.

So getting your mind tough, getting your body to where I can handle that, and just being

ready for those adventures.

Because you never know when that time's going to come.
