I found out on Thursday that I'd been permanently banned from TikTok.

I don't really know why, but two days ago, I was informed that I already had two strikes against me for content violations.

Apparently, in the 24-hour period following that, I got another strike.

What happened between then and now? I cannot tell you, because I went from being locked out of my

TikTok account to not having one anymore.

This wasn't surprising.

Actually, we knew things at TikTok were going to get bad for left-leaning accounts

when Donald's buddy, Larry Ellison, founder of Oracle, who is now in control of a mind-boggling share

of American media took over.

When the Ellison deal finally went through to take over a significant portion of TikTok, the U.S. Treasury, at least ostensibly,

received a transaction fee in the amount of $10 billion. So clearly the fix was already in,

and I suppose it was just a matter of time.

But to bad me for life, TikTok really had to dig deep.

Because I don't know if you guys are familiar with TikTok, but it's a really weird platform.

And there are certain words you cannot say. Or if you say them,

you have to, in your captions, you have to change them. So instead of dead, you have to say

unalive. If you swear, you can't have the swear word in the captions.

Stuff like that.

It's an odd little place.

I kind of liked it to tell you the truth.

But it already had its strange rules that one had to accommodate.
