0:54.0	I'd like to spend this podcast episode talking about Mary's presence in the upper room at

1:01.3	Here are just a few points that we'll be discussing throughout this episode.
1:06.1	First of all, in Acts chapter 1 verse 14, we discover that along with Peter and the other 11, we have altogether 120 people in the upper room praying fervently and waiting
1:19.0	expectantly for whatever this gift is that Jesus promised which he called the promise of the Father.
1:25.3	Now in retrospect we all know that gift, that promise is the power and the fullness of the Holy
1:31.8	Spirit that descended upon them all at
1:34.7	Pentecost. But there in verse 14 we discover that prominently numbered among
1:40.2	the 120 is not just St Peter Peter, the first Pope of the Church, but the Blessed
1:46.2	Virgin Mary. This sort of raises the question about what is her unique relationship
1:52.2	to the Holy Spirit?
1:53.8	To be honest, I can't even begin to scratch the surface on this one because this has been
1:58.8	a theological question in my mind for more than 35 years.
2:03.2	Going back to before when I became a Catholic, I discovered the writings of St. Maximilian
2:08.1	Colby, and along with Professor Mathias Sheban, I found this to be the single most interesting, intriguing, and important
2:16.7	topic in the area of theology.
