It's so good to be here.

And it's so good to be talking about a topic that I don't think will surprise too many people,

but we might have some surprising things to say about it.

So I understand you are working on a brand new book on typology. Now that might not surprise any people.

It's what you're known for but I think a lot of people

Understand topology and maybe a two simple way is just the people and events and things in the old Testament that point forward to Christ and the church.

So that Jesus is the Passover Lamb.

But we've said that, then there's more to say because we're writing a whole book on it.

So I want to dig in this time into really quickly,

just do a sort of primer on typology.

What is it?

How do we know that this is a legitimate way

to read the Bible and then in what ways does the Bible do it and

and is there anything any further like extra biblical application?
