Have you ever really pondered the weighty decision the Blessed Virgin Mary had to make at the wedding at Cana?

Her heroic decision at this pivotal

moment in her life? Have you ever pondered the interior drama inside Mary's soul? What was really

going on at this moment? You know, I think many times we read the Bible and we just catch the

surface of the story. You know, we hear like at the wedding at Cana, we hear about, oh, they ran out a wine. Mary goes and tells Jesus. And voila, he performs a miracle. Water's

changed to wine. Problem solved. But when we see only at that level, we're missing so much.

Because this beautiful story of the wedding at Cana gives us a profound window into Mary's soul.

If you want to know what was going on on the inside of Mary's life, what was going on inside

her heart, or what was going on inside what John Paul II called Mary's interior pilgrimage

of faith, then you want to pay attention to what's really going on

at the wedding at Cana with Mary. And we're going to see that Mary will really stand out as a model

of great trust and surrender, a model of tremendous courage and abandonment and heroic generosity

in her life. If you want to imitate Mary,

do you love Mary? Do you want to imitate her and her virtues? Do you want to grow in greater

trust of your Heavenly Father? Do you want to grow in greater courage to do hard things that God

is calling you to do? Do you want to grow in your heart with more generosity to give everything to Jesus?

That's what we're going to see Mary does at the wedding of Cana, and that's what we're going to
