then you got nothing on Marvel vs DC. That's right. This rivalry started over half a century ago and began about comic books.

And it's now evolved to movies. That's right, Marvel Comics vs DC Comics.

My guest today, Reed Tucker wrote a great book about it. It's called Slugfest inside the epic 50-year battle between Marvel and DC.

And wait till you hear some of his stories. Incredible stuff about Insider spying,

undercutting prices on comics and stealing artists and writers too. He talked to some of the legendary players from both companies

and under all sorts of ridiculous stuff, cool stuff stuff you're gonna need to know if you love comics, even if you don't.

Of course we talk about our favorite comics and our favorite characters. Who's the most popular?

Which one generates the most money in merch and sales? And would it took for Marvel to overtake DC Comics and then dominate the movie box office as well?

Reed's got some theories on why DC is struggling on the big screen. What makes Marvel work so well and what the future may hold for both.
