We are going to talk about Marvel Studios latest behind the scenes documentary,

Director by Night. My name is Ben Pearson, I'm an editor at slash film

dot com and I'm joined on today's episode by slash film editor Brad

Omen. Hey that's me. All right Brad we're very busy a lot going on today

and I honestly don't really have time to do like a huge episode of the show but you wrote this really great feature about

Director by Knight which is as I mentioned Marvel's latest behind the scenes sort of making of documentary about

Wherewolf by Night, the film directed by Michael Jocino,

the famed composer.

And I just wanted to have you come on for a minute

and sort of like plug this piece and tell me,

because I have not had a chance to watch director by night yet and I was I

was hoping that you could just tell me why you think that this is Marvel's best making of

documentary yet yeah for sure and just to set the stage, you know, if for people who maybe don't have Disney Plus or you know haven't been paying attention to stuff other than the actual movies and TV shows, ever since phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe started, Disney Plus has been host to these cool, roughly hour-long

documentaries in the Assembled series, where it explores the making of all of their movies and

TV shows since they returned in 2021 starting with Wanda Vision on the TV

side and Black Widow on the movie side and there are these cool glimpses behind the scenes.

They're very much studio sanction.

There's not necessarily anything groundbreaking or earth-shattering from them.

They're basically glorified near feature length

featurettes that you might find on like a Blu-ray or DVD release, but they're still
