podcast are you know heavy and heartfelt and deep and like therapy. and

like therapy, but also we want to bring you times when we laugh and share stories and reminisce and this conversation with, as his friends call him Marty, short, is one of those times.

And I took this, witnessing Christina talk to him as a lesson to reach out to somebody from your past.

So you know when you're feeling defined by your trauma or whatever might be plaguing you or you're dealing with in your life.

Find someone from a time in your life where it felt a little bit lighter or brighter

and talk about those times and those stories and those memories because I really think they're healing and they're a reminder that we're not defined by what we deal with.

We are so much more than that and I felt that so much for Christina when we recorded this episode.

So today is an incredibly exciting day because we have not one of the funniest people I know.

He is the funniest person that I know on and off and he is delightful he is kind he is he's

hilarious he is the star of stage and screen and probably a couple corners on a street somewhere, but one of my favorite people in the entire world, the incomparable, incredibly talented Martin Short.
