I'm calling it the Ryan McAllister week and that's because my friend Ryan McAllister is coming on the show.

Now, you may not have heard his name, but you will know the name of the person who he is the head gardener for.

Are you ready?

I wish I had a drum roll sound, but I don't have one.

So, Martha Stewart.

He is Martha Stewart's head gardener and has been in that position for years.

So I said, you know what?

I think it would be amazing if you could come on and tell us a little bit about your

experience working in Martha's Garden as her personal gardener,

both for her own home, as well as some of the projects that she does with Martha Stewart Living

and all of her other various business interests.

And so he said, sure.

So I was super, super happy, and so this week is going to be all about what Ryan can share

with us that we can translate down to our own gardens.

And so the first episode is going to just be his background,

how he got into gardening, what excites him about it,

and then how he ended up as Martha Stewart's personal

gardener which is just what an incredible opportunity so without further ado

let's kick into it with Ryan McAllister probably makes sense to start out with your background and just how you got into

gardening and how you eventually ended up at the position that you have with Martha.
