We're headed to Mars with Bob Zimmerman who keeps the website behind the black ingenuity.

They did their 35th flight and it made a new record of 49 feet.

I'm sorry enough for 46 feet altitude record.

There's the highest it's flown and generally it's flown only to 33 feet.

But they have a new source to wear to test and they want to see if they can fly higher.

That's a big deal because the atmosphere of Mars is so thin going higher it gets thinner.

And that can be a difference in just those few feet.

And they need to be able to do this because they want to be able to fly up above the delta

that Perseverance is going to go to so they need to be able to fly higher.

And so they did this first. They went up. They went slightly sideways about 50 feet.

And then came back down again and it worked great. And so this is just once again
