and we're chasing Lucy. Remind us of Lucy Bob and that wonderful name the probe has. Good evening to you.

Yeah, good evening, John. Lucy is named after the African fossils, that early human,

humanoid. And they did that to honor the discovery of that, having nothing to do with asteroids.

So what? It's just a cool name.

Lucy is on its way to do, to look at about eight to ten asteroids in the Trojan

asteroids that orbit in front of and behind Jupiter in Jupiter's orbit.

But on this way, it's passing several other asteroids in the main belt,

asteroid belt, which is closer to us. And so this week, it flew past an asteroid called

Donald Johansen. And it sent back pictures. The flyby was good. They're still waiting to

get all the data out of it. But they posted a series, they posted a short movie produced from the approach

images before it flew past.

And so I posted one of those up, and you can click on the picture and see the actual

movie.

And they approached it.

This is, once again, looks like it's a binary asteroid that has stuck together.
