Elizabeth and I were recently in Michigan spending some time with some dear friends

Emerson and Sarah Igrich. Emerson wrote the book called Love and Respect, which has been such an incredible help to millions upon millions of marriages around the world and this dynamic of love and respect.

And so we know that having a healthy marriage is the beginning of being an intentional parent.

It's like the rebar that we put in the foundation of our home.

It gives it extra strength.

And so we were out in Michigan visiting Emerson and Sarah just catching up on marriage

and life and we pulled out the recorder and captured some amazing conversations about love and

respect and also about love and respect in the family, specifically with parents and kids.

And so we apologize for the lower audio quality, but the content is just so rich we had to share it.
