I was in a convention.

It's been decades ago now.

And one of the elder ministers got up.

He paused and he said, eat the whole roll.

Well, he's talking about the word of God, the whole counsel, the whole message.

We ought not just pick and choose parts, but let's eat the whole roll.

On Friday nights in the marriage meeting in times past

Phyllis and I have dealt with some of the questions

that have come in and we don't say that we'll try to answer every question

but over the previous years and even years before

we had the church here, we were in the ministry and ministered to people concerning their

marriages, endeavoring to learn things ourselves. And some over the years, you'll see some

questions that just keep recurring.

Maybe they worded a little bit differently, but it's the same basic deal.

And, you know, we're a lot the same, all of us.

And the devil's using the same tricks.

And thank the Lord, the word works the same for everybody.

So don't think that something peculiar and strange is happening to you that's not

happening to anybody else.

It's simply not true.
