But gentlemen, it is day 50 of two Americans that were not supposed to call stranded on the

International Space Station. I'm talking about NASA, astronauts,

Butch Wilmore, and Sunni Williams,

and their Starliner capsule that has still not been rated safe to fly.

And this, as we're taping this on Friday, July 26,

it is day 50 of their week-long stay on board the ISS.

That's a long week.

And that's longer than a week, isn't it?

That much.

Yeah, that much longer.

Actually, I think it was supposed to be eight days, but at this point, who's counting?

Well, I'm sure they're counting at this point.

They'd probably like to get home.

And originally, I was going to call this day 523, America held hospice about Jimmy Carter,

but there's even less news on that one.

But more seriously, the reason I'm doing this story today is NASA held a press conference on Thursday with NASA Commercial Crew Program program chief Steve Stitch and I thought he'd

have some big news today like hey we did all those tests of white sands we know what the problem

is we're going to get a schedule to bring these guys home or gosh we give up we're going to send

a dragon crew up there and bring them home that way.

Instead, we got a whole lot and not much.
