The shocking cascade of events at the national political level in the United States in the past couple of weeks has led me to ask a painful question.

nomination. We're a hundred days to go before the election. We've got the Times-Siena poll that

just got announced is showing a virtual dead heat between Vice President

Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, 48 to 47.

And gentlemen, and Steve Green specifically, what I have noticed about all of these events

is that every single one of these has amped up the anger,

has increased the division,

has raised the temperature on each side of the aisle,

with each side more convinced than ever

of the righteousness of their own cause.

Is this normal? Like, is there anything that can reduce the temperature, so to speak, or at least

there to be a way? Is this just how it is because of human nature? Or is this essential
