Hello everyone and welcome to episode 97 of the Criminology Podcast on Mike Ferguson.

And this is Mike Morphard.

Mr. Morphard how are you?

I'm doing good. I just got over a cold, lost my voice but luckily it was in between episodes

of recording so I thought it was a bullet. How about you?

Well you know that timing can be kind of tricky right?

You and I have kind of a set recording time.

So there's nothing worse than feeling like you're about ready to get sick in the day or two

leading up to when we're about ready to record. That's kind of nerve-wracking to think,

oh am I going to make it? Is my voice going to be there?

I think that's the key because we can baby a little bit and maybe take some hot tea and get it

ready but are you going to make it through the entire episode?

Because once you start talking by the time it ends you don't know if you're going to make it all

the way through. So luckily your voice is pretty strong. That's always a good thing.

So Morph, Gibbon I put out an episode last week and it was on this woman named Evelyn Hernandez.

This was unsolved. Well there were ties to Lacey Peterson, Scott Peterson and then by association

Kristen Smart. So we were talking about this big news, this big bombshell that was about ready to drop

which was that reportedly the FBI was going to make a big announcement in the Kristen Smart case.

After we recorded the episode it came out that okay Kristen's mother had said something that the

FBI was saying that they hadn't said. So now I'm kind of up in the air. I guess there's not going
