And I welcome Elizabeth Peake, who is a colonist for the Hill, comments for Fox News, much on Fox Business, because we're going to begin concentrating on the big, beautiful bill that is in

abeyance in the U.S. Congress, and at the same time, the price of

oil. Those two determinatives used to be the story of the American economy, no longer because

we're dealing with unknowns of the marketplace, of artificial intelligence, of war fighting,

and of the what you of artificial intelligence, of war fighting, and of the, what you say,

is lingering hostility to the President of the United States by the people who participated in the election and lost, their candidate lost, and yet, Liz, a very good evening to you.

We begin with the big, beautiful bill.

The Wall Street Journal headline is suggestive that changes are coming. Senate trims salt, cuts more Medicaid and

proposed changes to Trump Megabill, the Big Beautiful Bill. The presentation I read last night

that looked credible was that the Republicans are at war with themselves.

Okay, so let's begin with salt.

The Senate believes it's too generous.

What is salt and what would be acceptable to our understanding of some majority of the Republicans in the Senate.
