Tim Walls, a man who is 60 years old, a National Guard veteran, a man who is seen by some, that would be the LA Times headline as moderate, by others as someone who is of the progressive stripe but does very well in so-called conservative regions that would be Minnesota

according to the Washington Post in other words it really matters where you're

standing to understand the adjectives now being applied to Tim Walls.

He is a man who comes out of a state that is famous for its liberal bent towards farmers, famous also for Hubert Humphrey, for being in the national

conversation all of my life, and now it will again with the governor chosen, Tim Walsh.

He is a man who has spent two decades as a teacher, as a leader, and is blessed by the National

Teachers Union.

He is also a favorite of the Progressive wing of the Democratic

Party and Vice President Harris has named him as someone to go to the modest vote, the

undecided vote in the Midwestern states.
