I'm John Batchelor, and Elizabeth Peek is here, my colleague, who writes a column for the Hill and column for Fox News.

And I apologize to Liz that I missed entirely Senator Cory Booker's display until I read Liz's column.

0:18.1

And if you missed it, and apparently it was hard to miss, but I've been reading,

0:22.2

well, I confess that I read history. I was not paying attention to the current events.

0:28.2

As I understand it, Liz, Senator Booker lasted 25 hours on the Senate floor speaking about matters

0:34.9

1:34.5

They don't have a leader. There's a tremendous battle going on right now between the younger

1:39.3

generation and the older generation about who really should speak for the Democratic Party.

1:45.4

The younger generation, let's talk about Chris Murphy in Connecticut or AOC in New York,

1:52.1

were furious that Chuck Schumer did a deal with Republicans and passed the budget bill,

1:59.7

which allowed the government to continue to function.
