This is the Marketplace Minute. I'm Megan McCarty Carino.

Markets were mixed to kick off the week. The Dow dropped from its record high last week,

falling about half a percent. The S&P bumped up less than a tenth a percent, and the NASDAQ gained more than six tenths percent.

All eyes on artificial intelligence this week, as NVIDIA, the chipmaker powering the AI Boom, reports earnings Wednesday. Today Microsoft

announced a new line of computers that will incorporate AI into their

operating systems, part of its push to add the tech to its full product lineup.

Those machines will use chips from NVIDIA's competitor, Qualcomm.

Cruise stocks sailed up after Norwegian cruise line holdings raised its outlook for the year.

The industry was one of the hardest hit by the pandemic, but is now seeing record bookings.

And shares in Digital Pharmacy Hymns and Hers soared, after announcing it will offer GLP1 weight loss injections,

the same class of drug as the wildly successful Ozembic.
