Crypto markets have been enjoying a green day, with Bitcoin up almost 2.8% as at 10 a.m. Eastern Time, trading at $27,280, according to Coin-desk indices.

Ether is up almost 1.8% trading at $1,658. Some smaller tokens such as ChainLink are up almost 10%, and Cosmos's

atom token is up over 4%. The driver behind the change in mood appears to be renewed trader

interest, as open interest in Bitcoin and Ether futures has jumped to the highest point

for both since mid-August, according to data from Coinglass.
