Okay, guys, on today's show, we're going to talk some Cisco earnings.

We're going to talk short selling, and we're going to talk about the business of bullet trains

in China specifically there.

But let's begin with the weekly jobs report.

Ron, jobless claims fell to a four month low last week and as I was reading these

headlines I saw the word encouraging a lot. So the stock market is up at the time of our

taping here are you encouraged I hate to be a downer here oh come on Ron no I'm actually not

encouraged I view them as somewhat meaningless.

They really tell us nothing about hiring.

These are just the amount of people who have applied for unemployment.

So we don't know if people are getting hired and going back to work.

This looks in the rearview mirror.

Or leaving the country.

Right.
