Wow.

I mean, don't you think if you're the Secret Service Director,

you want to resign before you go to the Congressional

Committee during which everyone is demanding your resignation? I mean, if you know you're going to resign,

why subject yourself to that degree of humiliation? There's a legitimate inquiry here. And by the way,

I think it does, sadly, whether or not it was actually something

you're responsible for or not, you are responsible for it because you're top of the heat.

There was an investigation that was both demanded and appropriate. And I understand a

congressional committee. But I'm just saying if you kind of think, well, it's inevitable.

I'm going to have to resign.

Why not save yourself that humiliation?

Anyway, details of what happens now and how that decision-making process went down as that Secret Service director does resign the day after, essentially everyone in America,

both sides of the aisle, demanding her resignation.
