I have a question. I think many people are asking. And it's in a positive context. And I never ever thought I would be praising this guy. I was probably one of his toughest critics. I thought he had no business running for the Senate. I thought he was a phony.

I found it hard to respect somebody who lived off his parents into his late 40s and has never

actually held a real job outside of being a mayor of a small town in Pennsylvania.

But Senator John Federman, Democrat, Pennsylvania, has made more sense than most politicians on major issues these

days. And my question is, what the hell is going on? What happened to this guy? I mean, it's

insane. He came out today and he is just slamming this $14.9 billion sale of U.S. steel to Nippon steel.

That's Japan's largest steel maker, excuse me.

It says it's, quote, wrong for workers and wrong for Pennsylvania calls it absolutely

outrageous that this Pittsburgh-based company should be sold to a foreign nation.

Yep, that's right.

And you don't hear any other Democrats talking this way.

And it's not just this as a one-off.

You had Federman calling on Democrats to meet with Republicans

and figure out what to do about the U.S. southern border,

because that is a crisis that has become a catastrophe.

Not just humanitarian, not just

exhausting our resources from a health care perspective, education perspective, all the fentanyl

coming over, killing 100,000 people per year. But now this is a national security issue because

clearly, I'm sure some of the folks coming across are affiliated with Iran or Hamas or Hezbollah or al-Qaeda

because they see an easy entrance into this country and then there's no ability to track any of

these people.

So you know this is happening.
