Mark, in keeping with your discussion of classic TV shows,

Steve Sharipa recently said on Talking Sopranos that he appeared in the

final scene of the last episode of Colombo with Peter Fox.

Oh, yeah.

And I wanted to ask you, I wanted to ask you, didn't you and Peter work on a fact script

at some point for that show?

Yeah, actually, we did.

He was a good friend.

And if you've been listening to this show for years, you know, he was a regular guest on this show, but this was a bit early 90s. He hadn't brought back Colombo yet, so he was thinking of doing a movie. He and I worked on this movie plot together. It was about, it was actually a great idea. He wanted to compare Colombo methods versus Sherlock Holmes.

So it was about a murder at a Sherlock Holmes convention, you know, the big Sherlock Holmes fans.

And could they solve it using Sherlock Holmes techniques faster than Colombo could?

But the movie never got made.

And then at some point, you got a deal to do it again as a tv show let's go
