when you do these it's like yeah I got your own talk show there on substack with guests and

everything I know it's so much fun and not only is is there no actual censorship, you know, you don't realize until you don't have someone overseeing what you're saying or writing, how much self-censorship you do. And I think I probably do a lot less than most people. But, yeah, it's been terrific.

I've interviewed Jeremy Peters from the New York Times.

Last week he covered the Dominion lawsuit against Fox News.

And he is one of the rare honest reporters at the New York Times.

I mean, he's a liberal and everything.

But if he ever calls you for an interview, you can trust him not to lie about what you said which is somewhat unusual among reporters um and this

week i have an interview with my old friend bill shultz from from red eye we used to have a lot

of fun he was very funny and we did a lot of weird topics you know

but you look at that subset where you do uh like you got your own tv show there your own videos

your own entire columns you wonder why didn't twitter just do that kind of stuff why is it still

just all you can write is a paragraph and that's it well unfortunately apparently that is what Elon Musk is trying to do.

So I sometimes do it, the longer tweets, but I mean, that's what I kind of liked about

Twitter.

It sort of forced you to be brief to write jokey stuff.

And if I really, I mean, I tend not to read very long tweet.

Sometimes I do.
