Hey, a couple of things are going on in Washington, D.C. as we speak.

Bob Menendez is speaking in front of Congress, yelling and screaming that he's innocent,

why these accusations, he says, are outrageous.

Outrageous.

He can't believe he's being accused of it.

Now, first of all, anybody that finds 400,000 in cash in your house and gold bars hidden in your house, nothing's outrageous.

You look like a criminal. It's very Tony.

The D.C. Circuit Court, Trump's lawyers are arguing, this is this lunatic prosecutor,

persecutor, Jack Smith, going after Trump, January 6th, whatever. Trump's lawyers are making a pretty

good case.

And they're arguing that the founders of the country, the founders in the

Constitution laid out one remedy if you think a president has done something criminal

while in office, and that's impeachment.

Congress can impeach and try the president if they think he did something criminal.

And they're arguing that the Constitution lays that out as the thing you can use, the mechanism to remove a president or to prosecute him.

And the reason they did that is they don't want local courts to do it.

They don't want local prosecutors outside of Congress to do it. Because if you allowed that,

then any time anybody didn't like a president, they could just start filing charges and
