Well, so we just got the big news.

Steve Bannon has been sentenced to four months in jail,

which means you'll be getting the alert on your phone about 40 minutes from now.

You notice when you have the breaking news.

No, I'm just checking every website right now. New York Post website. No, nope, they don't have it yet. That's why you got to listen to the radio. You get it much, much, much faster here. Let's just check the New York Times website. This would be a big story for them. Nope, not up there yet. Oh, they just broke it. Just broke it. There you go. Steve Penn.

Yeah. Now, any word on whether he'll have to serve right away? He was asking that the sentence be postponed pending his appeals. Did the judge rule on that? Yeah. He was released pending appeal. Yeah, okay. So he'll remain free. See, that's what I thought it would be, because this is Washington, D.C. or is it Virginia, wherever it is, they hate Trump. They just hate Trump. They want to put this guy in jail. They want to do all kinds of things to him. But they got to look like it's not too partisan, so they'll split it down in the middle. They will sentence him, even though nobody's ever been sentenced for this.

But they'll allow him his appeals for it.

So he remains free on appeal.

Now, Bannon argued a few things that I don't know about.

Bannon argued with the court that he hated this January 6th committee

and everybody on it and didn't want to appear before them.

Now, that doesn't sound like a great argument, but a lot of people have done this,

and they've never been prosecuted for this.

Eric Holder, the former Attorney General Janet Reno, a lot of the Obama cabinet,

Lois Lerner and others, and nobody was ever prosecuted

for this.

It's just because it's a Trump guy.

So somewhere in this filing, Bannon argued that because he was a major advisor of the

President of the United States, she should be given some leeway here.
