reporting for duty are you all set for memorial Day? And by the way, quick lesson on

Memorial Day. It was nice to hear folks talking about it with Larry Menti now a few minutes ago.

Memorial Day has the word memory in it. Okay. So it is not Veterans Day, although we could still say

thank you to a veteran. Of course. You could say thank you to a veteran every day. But Memorial Day is the time that we remember the people who died fighting to protect

our country. So I'm glad we had callers a few minutes ago saying you shouldn't say happy Memorial

Day. Yeah, for young people who want to enjoy the beach or whatever, and the fact that you

might be getting together with family, that's good, that's happy. But it's not a day that's about

happy. It's a day that it's about memorializing. We're supposed to remember those. Give a moment,

just a moment of your day to think about those people who made the ultimate sacrifice.

And how significant that is. How many of us would be willing to step up and say, you know what,

take my life so that those 100,000 people over there can live? That's a tough one, right? But people

did that by the hundreds of thousands through our history so all we ask right

as americans fellow americans no matter what your politics no matter what your religion no matter

what your heritage originally you're an american just take a moment this monday and over the

weekend and technically every day we should but this one day specifically and just remember

the good folks who sacrificed ultimately their lives.

The families left behind who lost their loved one, their father, their brother, their sister, their mother, so that our America could be free.

And again, like I said, always think of that.

The living vet is the person who survives in place of that person who passed, whom we remember Memorial Day 4.

But I just think that it's so important that we take that time.
