Summary

On Monday's Mark Levin Show, this program maintains its support for the Ukrainian people and President Zelensky will go down in history for staying and fighting with his countrymen. Hopefully, Putin will not resort to chemical weapons now that more countries have stepped up to send Ukraine some weapons. President Biden should have taken the lead early on, yet he continues to wait and just keeps announcing new sanctions that should have been in place already. Then, can a military operate on green energy? Of course not! Biden must stop sanctions on the American energy industry and start sanctioning the Russian energy industry. Tanks and other heavy artillery require fossil fuels and leaving Putin's oil and gas industry untouched allows him to continue his war. The United States can crush Russia's economy if Biden would actually take action on serious sanctions and arm the Ukrainian people. Later, Texas gubernatorial candidate and retired Army Lt. Col. Allen West joins the show. West says that Zelensky is leading from the front, unlike Biden. He added that the Ukrainians have now shot down several Russian aircraft so their military should not be underestimated. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

We should not romanticize what is taking place here. Ukrainian people are truly courageous people.

2:35.3

And their president will go down in history for a thousand years. But they're still fighting a very formidable army.

2:45.3

Is the army been slowed? Yes. But that means they can get hungrier and angrier and even more violent.

2:55.3

I'm noticing and I'm pleased that so many countries around the world are finally providing the Ukrainians with military support.

3:05.3

They're not asking for latkes or easuke bake ovens or blankets. No, no, they want weapons to defend themselves.

And these economic sanctions seem to be having a real pinch. But you know what's bothering me?

3:26.3

I don't feel like the United States has taken the lead in this at all.

3:32.3

And you better believe that if something good comes out of this, Biden's going to take credit for the whole thing. It's like with the virus.

3:43.3

There's no credit to be taken here. The Ukrainians should have been armed up early on. They should have had more jets early on.

3:55.3

So they have more capacity to defend themselves and go on the offense because when you're defending yourself, the goal is to go on the offense.

4:03.3

That's what my father always told me. Don't sit there and be a punching bag. Hit the other guy, square in the nose. That's playing defense and offense.

4:12.3

White House keeps announcing new sanctions. I do not understand why we're just not unloading crushing sanctions. I use this line the other night.
