When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program.

Is that a bad thing?

Come on, come on. Who are you? Are you anti-literacy? What's so about about that?

Are you anti-reading? Who wouldn't want Cubans to have books? These are good things.

I mean, yeah, there was this little detail about 14,000 Cubans dying. A little thing called a revolution.

And yeah, I mean, after the initial 14,000 people were killed in the revolution,

well, we took some businesses and we took some homes. Okay, so we really just took all private property.

And yeah, I mean, naturally, there's some more people that resisted and were upset.

So then we killed about another 60,000 during the resistance. It happens.

But books and literacy. Tell me that is in a good thing. Cubans, they like to read.

I mean, seriously, seriously, to put this in perspective for you,

Bernie Sanders and the literacy of Cuba and Fidel Castro, what he brought his gift of reading to the island,

it led to the killing of 14,000 Cubans before they were granted that wonderful literacy program in that revolution.

It did lead to the killing of about another 60,000 Cubans as they were confiscating the Castro regime, businesses, homes, possessions as they saw fit.

Now, let me put this in perspective for you. This would be the equivalent of an incoming revolution in Massachusetts.
