Several years ago, when the left decided that they would advance the cause of illegal immigration

and criminal legal aliens through sanctuary cities, I made the point that they'd a lot in common

with the Southern Confederacy of old.

Defying federal law, where the Constitution in fact places law-making with the federal government,

specifically Congress, when it comes to immigration laws.

In the states decided, several of them, in some of the more radical cities, that they were going to defy the law.

They were going to nullify federal law, where federal law is black-letter law in the Constitution in this regard.

And so they called themselves sanctuaries, like doing World War II,

when Jews and others were held in churches among other places as sanctuaries against the Nazis.

Now we have sanctuary cities and sanctuary states.

In many ways, thanks to the Democrat, we have a sanctuary nation.

No borders. No law enforcement. No vetting. Nothing.
