We are two ear relevant individuals testifying today.

Utterly ear relevant.

I mean, let's break this down. Let's make it nice and simple, so even these goofball journalists can understand.

And by the way, the list of good journalists is shrinking and shrinking by the day, from like four to maybe two.

First of all, the Constitution says trees in bribery or other high crimes of misdemeanors.

And that language is interpreted not based on federal criminal statutes. I would tell our former federal prosecutor friends it's based on English common law.

It's based on parliament's experience, our framers borrowed from the British, not everything.

But that was their framework. When you hear the word misdemeanor, you figure, okay, right?

Misdemeanor, who cares? There was no such crime as a misdemeanor.

And at the time the Constitution was adopted. It's high crimes or misdemeanors.

A misdemeanor, high crimes, that was considered a very grave act against the nation.

When you hear people again, say Gerald Ford, they are moreronic.

And they are more like George Ford saying, impeachment is whatever the House or representative say it is. That's not what the Constitution says.

And yet that's where we are. We have a mob.
