Hey, you wrote a great column about the New York Times.

This crazy strike that took place this past week.

You used to work at the New York Times when it was the New York Times.

What the hell happened to this place?

Well, it's an interesting insight that the strike offers, Mark. A couple of points. So you have the

union, the New York Times Guild Union, accusing the New York Times of being racist and prejudiced against black reporters and journalists of all kinds.

Now, the evidence of this, according to the union head, is that no black reporter has ever gotten

the top score in a manager's review, the yearly evaluations that a lot of corporations do.

And the union head mentions Nicole Hannah-Hanna-Jones, who is the 1619 project founder, and she won a Pulitzer Prize for an essay that is full of errors.

I mean, I'm not a historian, and I can spot about five errors in it.

And the historians have just said it's just riddled with mistakes, facts just

wrong, wrong conclusions based on erroneous facts, et cetera, et cetera. So it tells me that the New
