I guess the whole idea here is to get him into a D.C. courtroom with a D.C. Trump-hating judge, a D.C. partisan jury.

Is this looks pretty scary for Donald Trump?

Well, look, I think the other case, the document case, looks like the trial would be held in Florida,

which you would think would be a more balanced jury.

If you just go by election returns, of course, Trump won Florida in both of his election races,

but he loses D.C. by about 95 to 5 percent. So it's not exactly the kind of place for a political trial, which is what this is shaping

up to be.

As I say in the column, Mark, that when you compare the way Merrick Garland, the Attorney

General, goes after Trump and yet sees no evil with Hunter Biden, Joe Biden.

It really makes you cynical about the Attorney General, about the government.

And I gulfed out a piece in the New York Times in April of 22, in which it talked about how Joe Biden was frustrated with Merrick Garland because Garland was not prosecuting Donald Trump.

And I mean, we, you know, we've been told so many times Donald Trump tried to sick the Justice Department on his political opponents and critics.

Well, here you have Joe Biden doing it.

The New York Times reporting it, but it doesn't catch fire.

There's no sense in the general public that what Merrick Garland is doing

is carrying the dirty water of his boss, the president, and by protecting his son, he's also

protecting the president. I mean, this is purely political. And so when you ask about, you know,

a Trump trial, I think it has to be seen
