well one of our favorite guests bernadette castro big name in the business world the uh the government

world and uh always great to talk to her bernad castro how you doing i'm doing great mark how are you

doing very good hey now you were a big part of the pataki administration and uh everybody says

well republican can't win can never

elect the Republican governor but weren't they saying that at the time Pataki got elected after

years of Mario Cuomo oh absolutely they were saying it he was definitely the underdog

um I think Lee Zeldon has a chance I think if if the Republicans have an opportunity, it is this time out.

You know, I mean, Kathy Hokel isn't that well known. She's running for the first time for governor.

She's an incumbent, but, you know, because the other Cuomo resigned.

And, you know, I think Lee Zeldon, I think all four of our candidates for governor were very honorable.

But I know Lee Zeldin better than the other three.

And I am, I'm happy for him.

I'm really thinking he's going to be a great governor.

It just matters, unfortunately, on the amount of money he can raise to take on the Democrat

machine in New York State.

I mean, we're out number two to one, so we need some crossover votes from the Democrats

or the independents to surge or we need some Dems to stay home.

You know, it's tough to win in New York State, but, you know,

he's he can handle it. I mean, you know, he wants it. He wants it really badly. He wanted Congress.

You know, he's got a great background. He was in the Armed Services. He's a good guy and great

family man. And he'll have Long Island support.

And I think you'll have some downstate support.
