You know, I keep reading, chaos.

It's chaos.

It seems pretty orderly to me.

But this guy seems like the biggest loser around. Shouldn't he just drop out?

Well, he's been waiting for this job ever since he got to Congress 16 years ago. I understand

ambition and I understand he wants the top job. But I think that over time, you know, people are sending a

signal that they don't trust you to be their leader if, you know, people break against party. And, you know, people are sending a signal that they don't trust you to be their leader if, you know,

people break against party. And, you know, all these members are, you know, they're not being

paid while they're doing this. So the rebels, you know, are actually, you know, forfeiting

paychecks. Huh. Listen, you know the real story of what goes on in that Congress. So what's

the real problem with McCarthy for a lot of these people?

Well, McCarthy has many good qualities. He's a tactical genius and he's a fundraising powerhouse.

But frankly, and I talk to many members about this, people don't trust him because he often lies to them.

And in Congress, your word is your bond.
