we're going to take you to our favourite haunt of ours in the north-east.

We're on the beach at Colliston, one of my favourite locations in Scotland.

This is one of those magical places in Scotland. You drive along and it's flat and frankly pretty boring. You come at the top of the cliff and suddenly a magical wee village opens up in front of you.

It's an enclosed beach, you've got the pier on one side, the rocks on the other.

It is an idyllic place for children as well.

We were down a couple of days ago and those piles of little three-year-olds running about the beach.

And what I noticed as I came down, what we all noticed was there's shoes all over the place.

The kids just leave their shoes on the steps so they don't have to get sandy feet back into the house and things.

It's great, but I mean, just that image of those four little clog light shoes

sends a wonderful message about happy children and safe children.
